Emergency Bag Sealer

A co-worker shared this tip with me today on how to make an emergency bag closure.  Say you are with the kiddies and they have a bag of candy that you don't want them to spill.  You also don't have a twist tie and it's not a zip lock.
What to do?

Do you have a water or soda bottle?
Also scissors or a pocket knife handy?

Remove the top portion of the bottle.  Trim the edges, if possible, so they are smooth.

Slide the open portion of the bag through the bottom and out the top.
Fold the plastic over the neck of the bottle.
Screw on the lid.
It makes a pretty good seal!
No spills.

Recycle when done!
