Share a Coke with . . .

Now for the AWWWW moment of the day.
Look what I found- Cokes for Tom and Kathy.

My husband is recovering from his knee surgery so
I made the trip to Wal-Mart, picking up a few items
(that I couldn't get locally)
and what did I find??

Cokes for US!!
So now Tom (the hubby) and Kathy (me) can
share a Coke together.

His knee is coming along well, in fact I have to hold him back,
trying to make him follow doctor orders.
He's doing pretty well but pretty tired of twice daily
injections in his stomach to prevent post op blood clots.
Hopefully he'll recover quickly and get back to work.

In the meantime, we'll sit and share a Coke.

I've seen those advertised at the movie theater but didn't know it was real..now I must find one for Chuck. I'm glad your hubby is doing ok with his knee. Hope he heals quickly.

I first saw these just 2 days after finding out I was diabetic. I really was wanting to buy one...seeing how it 'had my name on it'. I didn't buy it though. I was with the hubby and he really encouraged me not too. I'm a big coke drinker! I haven't had one in over a month. yay! I'm an even bigger Tea drinker-- and I quit drinking it with sugar. In fact the other day, I was out of UNsweet tea and thought I'd have a little bit of sweet tea-- blech! I poured it out and had water. I'm improving everyday. I told The Honey--next time I see a coke with my name on it...I'm buying it and I'm having some-- and he can drink the rest. :)
Glad the hubby is getting better. He sounds like my hubby-- not a good patient and doesn't want to follow dr. orders. He better do what the dr says...those shots and exercises are important.
...have a great week. Pat

He's doing his exercises and his shots, in fact he has gotten quite good at shots. I just have to keep him from trying to do everything himself. He is really looking for a timeframe when he can get back on the river without the risk of infection. He loves fishing.
