Practicing for Halloween?

It was a dark and stormy night . . .
(as they all are these days)
I got all excited about a pretty web dripping with rain drop that
was outside our back door by the light fixture.  What better place
for a spider to set up shop?

My husband took a look and said,
"Yep, that's a spider web,"
not nearly as interested as I was.

Oh well, it was fun for me.
And the spider wasn't one bit upset by the photo
although I'm sure some of the moths were none too thrilled.

At night when I go outside, if I look under the green security lights there are always toads waiting there. They catch the bugs that are drawn to the lights.

I just took a spider photo this morning but it wasn't a Halloween one like you got.

Nice shot. As long as spiders don't get in my way, I'm okay with them.
Have a blessed Sunday!

We had tree frogs clinging to the downspout by our garage light, waiting for bugs. Now they hang out in the fountain in the front yard, the little tadpoles are getting arms and legs now.

I don't get many spiders at the cabin, maybe because we are on the water. If they are indoors I get rid of the webs and try to relocate their makers if possible. Outdoors I let them catch as many flying insects as possible. - Margy
