Temptations in a Jar

"You keep your cat treats in a cookie jar?" you might ask.
"And who doesn't" I would reply.

Many visitors look in my treat jar to see if the snack of
the day would be cookies, jelly beans or maybe malted milk ball eggs.
Grab yourself a treat today and it would be a savory salmon treat!
Yummy, huh?
I'm not sure I'll many human takers, but you never know.
One thing's for sure the cat agrees, they are tasty treats.

I never thought of doing that but it is a good idea. We don't give treats to the barn cats, the mice they catch are their treats.

That might be one way to break distracted nibblers of their habit!

I might have eaten one of those just assuming it was people food. Years ago I made tuna fish salad out of a can of cat food and didn't realize it until my wife saw the can in the trash. I thought it was pretty good, anyway.

Our cats love several of the flavors too. :-)

You made me laugh - I keep goat treats in my cookie jar! They are animal cookies and really are people food. Have had to stop my husband from eating them more than once. You see, I usually have to come back for more treats and my hands aren't clean when that happens. Guess that they really are animal crackers!
