Christ Arose

Up from the grave He arose,

With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,

He arose a Victor from the dark domain,

And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.

He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Sending Easter wishes to all.

Tom says Happy Easter too! We spent the day with Tom's side of the family and of course our granddaughter, Taylor. Our daughter, Becky, was able to join us too which is very exciting. She works in a restaurant and we were fortunate that her place closes either early or all day for most major holidays. We had lots of ham, rye bread, cajun macaroni salad, watergate salad, olives and pickles, cheese, salami for appetizers in the afternoon and topped off with carrot cake. We don't do a big hot dinner for Easter-just too busy visiting. I got the kids funny faced bouncy balls that glow when you shake them plus balsa wood planes- all to keep them busy and running before dinner. There was a bit of candy too but not too much. I got kites but it was too rainy so that will wait until another weekend. I hope you had a nice day too.
