She's Gonna Blow!

She's Gonna Blow!

"Whatever you do," I said to my husband as I was leaving
yesterday morning, "don't get near the biscuit tin,
it's going to explode soon!

Sure enough, I received a call later on in the day.
I was right, the tube exploded sending biscuit dough
flying 5-6 ft across the kitchen!

You know how it is, you find a great sale and buy too much.
With all good intentions I stocked up and lined the shelf
with several biscuit tubes- which we did use quite frequently.
Except for these last two.

It's been a while as you might guess.
A long while.
Well, they went out with a bang, what more could a biscuit ask?

  1. I just made a recipe I found on a fellow blogger's website, CraftyGardener.ca for zucchini casserole. I tried it and liked it. The crescent rolls make the bottom and top crust and the grands size fits perfectly in the baking pan I used. You can also find a recipe on my blog. - Margy

  4. I've had them blow on the counter, but not in the fridge.
    Glad no one was injured!

  5. Yes he cleaned it up. I think it was more like a rocket, launching a chunk rather than splattering dough. Too bad we didn't have a camera on it!

  7. here's a suggestion...
next time you have a pair of rogue biscuit tins, put them in an ice cooler. Makes a much smaller mess to clean up. ;)
    That was a freebie!
I added your link to TCBH anyway... hope you got traffic from it.
    I love your funny stories
